Fictitious Psyche
all i've been wanting is to feel the
sincerity, genuineness, and truth.
for years i've been longing for the
right heart ever since in my days of youth.
the scars of realizations covers up
the skin of innocence and fiction.
living in dreams, a life full of doubt
and a whole city of imagination.
the fear of reality comes with hope,
and to hope, a dream that has been made.
fiction within my heart, thy heart spoke,
"when will you feel?" it said and persuade.
"i hope someday" she said with angst in her
eyes that was filled with zero chances.
the reality and truth that she can never bare,
she smiles and walks away, as she see
these people with romances.

My Ramen Coffee Guy
I'm a modern woman with an old soul.
In the depths of my heart are words to console.
They say I'm feisty and tough.
Somewhere is a sweet spot soft enough.
I'm far from perfection.
I fail and face frustrations.
I'm not good with everything.
But, I'm good in loving.
Let me tell you for sure.
From the beginning I am assured.
It starts from your good morning to good evenings
Your presence kept me believing.
You are stubborn as I thought
You should have retreated
Yet comes back undefeated
You are tougher than I thought
Breaking my conceptions
Unafraid of confrontations
By now you must see
Why I chose ramen and coffee.

Tila Tala
Ika nga, kung anong bukambibig
Siya ring nilalaman ng dibdib.
Kaya hiniling ko kay Bathala
Na sana'y umabot tayo sa sukdulan.
Ngunit sadyang mapaglaro ang tadhana
At ipinagkait tayo sa isa't-isa.
Kaya ako'y pipikit na lamang
At aalalahanin ang mga gunita.
Ang iyong mga mata
Na tila tala kung magningning.
Tila tala rin kung isipin,
Ang distansiya natin sa isa't-isa.
Bathala, maari bang Iyong dinggin
Ang natatangi kong hiling.
Sa una't huling pagkakataon,
Maari bang siya'y aking mahagkan?
Siya na tila talang
Lagi kong tinitingala
Ngunit kailanma'y hindi maabot
At tanging sa dilim lamang maaninag.
